1950 Chev Panel Truck

Go to the SCX10 picture archive, page 93 half way down there is a yellow Honcho with the type of exterior rust effect your looking for. And its real rust ! "thumbsup"

I only show 50 pages, could you post a link of that particular post."thumbsup"

That is an excellent idea for body mounts, let me know how they work out for you and where did you get them from?

Right now the truck weighs just over 7 lbs. and you can pick the truck up by the body."thumbsup"
I got them at Home Depot.

27 likes and counting, well done bud "thumbsup".

Were you planning to do the over/under diff gears and cvd's too?

I did overs in the front I think, not doing both only cuz I didn't have the other gears. As soon as I get the aluminum c hubs and high clearance knuckles I will be installing the universals."thumbsup"

Well I got busy today.

Did a little rust work

Long story short this is how it ended up, pretty happy I guess.

We will see what Santa will bring.

A little dremel work and baking soda. Actually baking powder not sure if there is a difference.

Wow, very impressive. "thumbsup"
Considering you were in your words "Afraid to start the painting process", you sir, had nothing to be afraid of. ;-)

I need some opinions on a couple things.

Which should I use.....

Lenses

or

And then Which wheels...

:???::???::???:

I call 2nd lenses and well the wheels, if you're gunna leave them as is I'd say the 2nd ones but if you're gunna weather them, I'd go for the first pair.
