What? A YetiXL?

And I want to see more of this:) and about scale: if it is 1:5 scale, then the 1:1 is not so very big.

Yeah your maybee right, but BigsquidRC uploaded it on youtube, and they claimed they did the filming.
Still a funny little film

Axial says someone sent it to them:

So we got an email with a link to a dropbox folder, and a brief text. There are a LOT of Axial Yeti XL rumors floating around recently, and since whoever sent it to us probably sent it to 20 other sites, figured we better post it quick.

Yeti XL Spy Video? « Big Squid RC – News, Reviews, Videos, and More!

^^ you probobly right;) did not read it on their page, only the descripion on youtube, says alot more there.
But realy need to see more of this Axial yetiXL

"Marketing"... Big Squid was also testing the 1:10 yeti the same time Axial was (same location and day).

Chances are Axial set this up with Big Squid.

Whoopti doo...

You can see more detail in certain screen grabs.

I can see the Griffin radiator in the first screen grab and it looks like it definitely has a solid rear axle. I also think I caught a glimpse of Brandon in the driver seat? Is he even old enough to drive?

I hope somebody makes Knucks, Chubs, and Unis for that large rear axle. could make for some awesome builds in the large scale section here on RCC.

i like that axial is making attempts at using unique advertising to increase awareness, but the fake viral direction is just that, fake.

does anybody know who their advertising agency is, or if they do it all in house?

What I don't understand is with today's cameras we can get a pic of Britney Spears butt pimple from 4000 yards away, but all the spy photos of RC trucks are as pathetic as pictures of a Real life, lives in the woods Yeti (Sasquatch).. Why ???

look, it appears as if the Yeti xl had a castle 2200kv?mmm system.. See it here in the pic..

As a Design Director myself, I have often wondered this as well. I am willing to bet it's "in-house". Maybe Jason can confirm.

It's definitely fake viral. See that a mile away. Nowhere near the quality of V/H/S/... just kidding.

Since Axial is owned by Tower/Great Planes/Hobbico now, chances are that's merged in with their marketing department or firm.

Who cares if it's hype, another new rig is exciting. People be pissing and moaning a lot when new products get spy shots or rumored and they can't have it RIGHT NOW. Get over it and go drive a scaler for a bit.

LMAO, instead of bitching about the actual product, everyone has now moved on to bitching about how it's marketed.

If that was directed towards me, I wasn't bitching about it. I was just making an observation that the Bigsquid and Axial probably worked together on it. look up V/H/S/ for the reference I gave.. it was a joke.

FYI

I love my Yeti. It's my go to rig. Super happy with it.
