Another bad RC4WD Experience ...

Maybe some day all people will realize RC4WD quality is not that of a top tier company. They have Chinese products that range from higher end to bottom of the barrel, but nothing is consistent. Even their higher end stuff can be good or it can be shitty from product to product and batch to batch. I can't say I know of another company that designs wheels that cut their own tires and then refuses to stand good for it.

People let RC4WD slide on the same issues on which they will bash Boom Racing and Integy. It makes no sense. The funny thing is that these days Boom is making stuff that is higher quality than a lot of RC4WD products and yet there are those that still won't give them any credit. Gotta love the closed-minded!

Are you kidding me? The guy buys a product and is ready to use it, but he can't because it's made incorrectly. And now he has to wait another week or more for a replacement simply because RC4WD doesn't want to split open a package? That's piss poor customer service which is typical of RC4WD. If he had bought from Horizon Hobby, ProLine, Tower Hobbies, RPP Hobby, etc they would have shipped one out immediately.

Low quality products and horrible customer service is why I stopped buying from RC4WD.

Wow turbo, read post 10 on this thread.

Rc4Wd bashes Boom? That the first I heard of that.

Sorry, that's why you should edit posts not just keep posting away...

 No. No, they don't. Listen to Rowdy...

Sorry, that makes more sense.....whoops....lol
Don't be afraid of the edit button...

I think he meant people in general not RC4WD the company.
Thank you. "thumbsup"

Ok, I'll bite.

Can you get some more pics of the bead and upright profile of the tire? Hard to tell what all is going on with just the single picture you have posted.

Thanks
:lmao: You can't be serious. It's deformed to shit unless he held it like that with his hands and then Photoshopped them out of the picture.

The question was directed to the original poster, not you.
I understand that. I was just pointing out the crazy nature of your question. :flipoff:

Instead of saying something like "Hey I'm a Team Manager at RC4WD and I have some pull so I'll see what I can do to make this right." you said "I'll bite" like you're playing a game. This just proves the mentality of RC4WD. Customer satisfaction is not first. If this were ProLine he would never have had to have posted a thread to make it right. They would have taken care of him right away.

Compaire the right and left sidewalls in the picture. The 'left' side one is ~3/4 the size of the 'right' sidewall.

Tires, above anything else, are suppose to be round. This one is not...

I gather that much. I am looking to see if this was something that was sandwiched between something or heat deformation etc. Just trying to give the higher ups as much info as possible.

It was just the tires in the box. It was the only thing I ordered at that time.

What type of pictures do you want?

It kinda does....a Firmer foam will force the tire to become round, then you start driving on it and forget about it. RC4WD foams are garbage.
Yeah I know what you mean, but my tires still look stupid, because the rubber is stretched on one side, so the tire is taller on that side.

Roger that...I've got three of those.

This is them out of the bag... Looks like a molding issue, the diameter on the shrunken side is definitely smaller than it should be and slightly deformed. Normal, used tire on the left, newly purchased tire on the right.

My last email to RC4wd was just a link to this thread.

My tire shipped out of the California warehouse today.
