After searching for a while I was finally able to locate a builder that understood the traditional hot rod style that I wanted without breaking the bank. The photos aren't the best, but you get the idea. I meant to post this from the beginning but forgot. The builder I found was James Gardiner in Berthoud, CO. His shop is called Broken Light Customs.

So I chopped up a photo I had in photoshop to get it as close visually as I could.
Yeah sure SBCs are fine but we're sticking to Traditional with this Flathead taken out of a '55 pickup.

Choppy choppy. Some rust but no big deal
I was torn as to what I should do for the roof. I opted for a metal top and the builder exceeded my expectations with this one
Body channeled over frame and suspension mocked up.
Rear suspension all mocked up. Transverse leaf=yum
Motor mounts
Interior roughed out.
Radiator and front suspension mounts look killer. Headlight mounts to the top of the shock mount.

Starting the cowl steering
Cowl patched at the bottom. The inset channel for the pitman arm is so awesome! Mooneyes remote oil filter too.
Mooneyes pedal
Shifter finished, didn't want to go overboard on the wild-factor here. Think it's just understated enough.
Saw another car with a bench like this so I went with it. Always dug the bomber seats but so many people have those.
That brings us up to date. I'll make sure to post any new photos I receive. Should be done in a few weeks! Can't wait!
