Does anyone out there own a Losi Mini-T? I'm getting one and I want to know the baddest motor you can run with the stock ESC/reciever combo unit.

Eventually I'll Up-grade the electronics but for now I just want to make it go faster.

good luck with your mini-t!!! I bought one for bashing indoors during the winter months. The stock receiver sucked, it would only go 20' away from me before stooping cuz it lost signal. If it were me I would first get a 5 cell battery pack for it then upgrade the electronics. I put a trinity motor on mine with the 5 cell pack and better esc the little bugger can barley keep the rear wheels behind it.

My Mini Baja has a Novak Spy with Trinity Baja motor in it.. With that setup, it does a wheely for a good 10-15 feet..i love it

I ran a couple of the "Sport" motors in mine until I got sick of "servos" going bad and went BL summer of '06, worth every penny!

I'm running a 5cell elite 1500mah pack, novak spy esc and Orion Baja motor. I was running a trinity monster motor first but this thing is better. Also the trinity pinion set will allow you to gear up.

The best brushed motor I ran was the Beast, but it's not available any more. Second to that was the Baja. If you don't mind shaving the trans case a bit and tweaking the motor plate you can run a Speed 400. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have messed with any of those brushed set ups though, I would go right to the brushless.
