chevy prerunner/trophy truck build

You might also check to make sure everything is spinning freely and make sure your spur/pinion gear mesh is not too tight. I had a similar problem that was fixed by giving appropriate spacing between the gears.

The motor is not connected no gears or anything on it. As seen in the previous picture of it.

We'll here is another update she is coming to an end. I got the steering figured out for the mean time.

So she all taken apart decided to put a grey paint on it like the real trophy trucks.

Main reason for painting was to prevent from rust but it will look better also. Going to the hobby shop on Wednesday so I will post a pic of her put back together after I use a whole can of paint to make it thick. And when I go I will get paint for the body and the electronics I need to get her running and I need my gear for the motors to come in. She is so close I can feel it can't wait to drive it. Was playing with the shocks today put some oil in and workin great. Hope you guys are enjoying. I know there are a lot of things y'all would do differently but it's my truck this is what I wanted. So I'm sorry. I happen to love this thing. Have a nice day.

That maybe your prob. An ae2 will work with that. I would suggest a Castle Creations sv3 of you plan on going brushless ever

.

I have a busy weekend coming with hunting season starting and basketball so I won't be doing much this week. But when I get my Ecs in if I get all working I'll post some driving picks and possibly video. She has come a long way and I'm excited. We'll see how the truck goes. I don't know if it will be very fast. But depending on how she holds up I'll either buy a slash transmission or a new front end but we will see how she works.

We'll I feel absolutely stupid. The problem was my battery wasn't all the way charged. Duh. We'll yeah so I couldn't get the servo to conect so I just drove it straight for a little but the driveshaft is to week didn't hold up we'll enough so In gonna need a full metal one but she did good other then that. So I'll have to send back the Ecs and buy a driveshaft. So it will still be a while before she is running. :/

Yes! This thing is awesome!

Ok we'll I had to re sotter the cables on my servo and my electronics are screwing up and this is a busy week. So I'll do it when I can but it won't be right away. Sorry.

Sorry it's going nicely. And I don't think I have many week points. But I guess we will see if y'all where right. And it's not very fast. So depending on if I need to replace something. If I don't I will be getting a slash transmission cuz it's not very fast. :/

what motor and pinion are you running? I had a 15turn Dynamite (out of a twin hammers) and 20T pinion in my creeper trasn and was pretty happy with the speed on 3s. if you are brushless i would look for like a 2200KV and the same 20T pinion.
