Do you believe in God,Heaven or Hell?

I do believe that the earth is fairly old,

How old is "fairly old"?

and that even though the Bible is said to be complete truth, the actual meanings of some things in different translations can differ over thousands of years.

Absolutely. With any form of communication from antiquity, it has to be examined as it was written, and not with current understanding.

For example, thanks a bird if it’s wing is amputated due to a disease, will it’s offspring have a missing wing? I think not.

That is an incredibly false explanation of evolution.

To further reinforce my beliefs, through the thousands of years humans have existed, there is no written evidence of evolution.

Modern humanity is relatively young, so any evolutionary changes will appear small, but it is there. We are (slightly) different and (slightly) more advanced than our ancestors from just a few thousand years ago. We know this through genetic research. So yes, there is evidence.

Is it not hypocritical to attack the beliefs of others when you are not willing (or able) to hold your own beliefs to the same evidentiary standards?

Apparently your beliefs aren’t supported well too.
I have no idea what beliefs you might be referring to. Modern science is not a belief. I am not aware of any beliefs I may hold that I am not willing to examine and abandon in the light on new evidence. Certainly nothing that might affect the price of milk at the market, or leave me suffering an existential crisis.

How about you? Would it make you sad to discover that your religious beliefs are not an accurate description of reality? Or do you simply not go there?
Not to mention that there is a “missing link” due to the fact that there have been no evolutionary fossils. How is it possible for an evolving organism to not die in the process.
Hilarious.

Firstly, this is comically and scientifically incoherent. You are not even wrong. Individual organisms don't evolve. :lmao:

Secondly, even if there were no scientific explanations for how the world around us works, the religious 'goddidit' claims such as yours still fail to have any explanatory power.

But, I am guessing that you cling to your beliefs for existential reasons; you'd be sad if you had to let them go.

You seriously need to take an elementary level course in evolution because you clearly don’t understand it.

You cannot engage in this debate with any credibility with this obvious lack of education.

Or you are being deliberately obtuse and that’s even worse.
Poe's Law states: ”Without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism."

I learned about this in elementary.

Cafeteria-type religions; simply cherry-pick and reinterpret the bible as you see fit. Convenient, and number in the thousands.
In other words do I believe in God? Yes. Do I believe in evolution? Not through the physical changing of an organism, but through the way it thinks and acts. For example, thanks a bird if it’s wing is amputated due to a disease, will it’s offspring have a missing wing? I think not.

Thousands of years? lol. Is that from when our ancestors got down out of the trees, left the savanna, Adam and Eve, or stepped off Noah's ark? :D
there is no written evidence of evolution.
Evidence is not what is written down. The bible is not evidence. Stories are not evidence. Wikipedia is not evidence. Science textbooks are not evidence, although you could try cracking one open and giving it a read. :lmao:

Evidence is testable, repeatable, and independently verifiable.

Evolve? Seriously? Why would we do that?

We make shit now days! No more need for that.

you cold? You put on a jacket and turn up the heat

you hot? A/c baby!

Sick? Go get some drugs from the doc

long distance to travel? Pick your "evolution": car boat bike plane

Hungry? Don't worry my friend you don't even need to get off your ass! Open Pizza hut app and press 1 button and BAM! some dude just got in his car and drove food right to your mouth!

So you tell me. Why would the human race need to evolve. If anything we are slowly getting more useless and unable.

That is true to some degree, it's by design, due to technology..then again you could say we are evolving with the technology.
3 year olds can navigate I pods..etc
I agree though it's making us useless in many regards.

Einstein was agnostic, and believed that the idea of a personal god was foolish.

Don't automatically assume that when someone says god or God that they are talking about the Abrahamic version.

I don't care if every high-profile scientist has some sort of religion, the onus is still on them to define what they mean by 'god', and provide testable, reproducible evidence for its existence in the form of a falsifiable hypothesis.

What you have done is committed an appeal to authority fallacy.

Also, from what I have read, if Einstein did believe in some sort of "god", it was certainly not the god-of-the-bible flavour of 'god'.

That being said, are you posting Einstein's words here as evidence that you are wrong in your god beliefs?

There is a God, The God of Israel, Jews and Christians. There is a God and He is the creator. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
