Fat Girl 2.2 scale rock bouncer

Let's hit'm this weekend. :mrgreen:
Fat Girl is getting a new heart and some work is being done to the belly of the beast.
Wraith skid is going in along with a 3300kV Tekin Pro4. 8)
Wraith links are being used out back. Used the SCX rear upper link mount on the rear axle. Will go to VP housings and link mounts when I can. For now the front will remain "stock" as ecoli built it.
Mounts for the Wraith skid were interesting since the chassis isn't 100% square. Ever so slight taper on one side. I didn't notice it until now.
No big deal, just had to make the skid square with the axles
Now to solder up some connectors on the Mamba Max Pro and take the ol' girl out for some mischief.

Had a warning. People closer to the shoreline evacuated and went to higher ground.

Went out on the trails with DTP and RusT today.
Hopefully got some good video of Fat Girl and DTP's Caddy taking shots at a hill.
RusT was shooting up with his IFS rig too.
Will have to see what it looks like and toss something together.

I'm not a fan of all the southern buggies, but there are a select few that are nice.

I swapped the power system to a Mamba Max Pro and the above picture Tekin Pro4. I think the gearing is 58/12. Ran on 2S today, but have a couple of 3S packs here for when I need/want more power.
The new power system is much better suited to the rig. Need to work on battery and electronics placement/security. Had a close call today when the Li-Po got nicked by the spur gear. :shock:
Anyway, action.

Looking good. I was curious how the skid would fit in there, good to see it didn't require too much modification to fit.
Personally, I'd run the AX10 axles. The width looks good, they look more similar to the rockwells under the 1:1 FG, and I always loved those beadlock rings Pat machined up for this rig. Just trying to save you money Jason :mrgreen:

Definitely needs a driver.
Not sure what you're talking about. I plan to swap to VP housings for the AX axles so I can have beefed servo and link mounts.

Fatgirl buggy seemed to be balanced better then the other rigs in the video. Did you notice that? Or was it just from you picking the good clips of you climbing? What it the total weight of your rig? I am build a buggy now and would like to know the weight. If it is possible could you tell me the weight of the front axle and rear axle?
