Finishline's SCX-10 Ambush

nc

so would recomend the novak crawler combo

Personally, NO:!: i had some glitching issues with mine so i stoped using it. not sure if the new ones have been fixed or not. Now the Novak Goat system is really nice i have a few friends with it in there rigs and it works well for them

would u wanna sell your esc set

No not intrested in selling it allways like to keep spare electronics just incase, and really not sure when im going to change it out. but im sure you can find a set in the for sale thread or flea-bay.

Looks very cool. I am still sporting the stock lid, trimmed to the max and painted black which is now flat black due to all the scratches in it haha

Small Update

wanted to show a pic of the light kit I'm going to try to install it by this weekend but i have some other business to take care of on my 1.9 comp rig first. love how you can plug and unplug each set. Also did alittle weathering on the body and installed the winch on the bumper (not running yet) and got my warn decals in today aswell also noticed my front bumper got beat up pretty bad this weekend lost a d ring and mount all together.

how did you weather it?

is the red on the outside or somethin?

dude this is a SWEET truck

I painted the inside of the body with a rust color primer then painted the outside of the body. When the body takes a hard hit the paint will flake or scratch, then i take a permanent gray marker go around the edge of the newly flaked paint then smear it so it makes it seam like there is multipal layers of paint. I also took a lighter and melted the body in some of the areas of the rust so it gives it a dented look really cant tell in the pics. i honestly think the rust color is to bright but once it gets too beat up ill just repaint the outside or get a new body.

Man that looks good! "thumbsup"

Thanks its been a long work in progress. some say with scalers the work is never done and im really starting to believe it:roll:
