I've heard some pretty crazy theories explaining why the U.S. government took military action but this, saying it was based on religion, is pretty high on the WTF list.


The radical muslims accused people of being spies, shouted some religious mumbo jumbo and murdered them.

Saddam on the other hand killed thousands of people, captured by the the U.S., BUT, was executed by the Iraqi special tribunal, not the U.S.

I don't see how you draw a comparison between the two. Radical muslims murdering "suspected spies" and Saddam being executed for killing thousands, which was proven.

You think getting involved in WW2 equates to christian based cruelty? WTF? Didn't it have more to do with stopping a nut case from trying to take over the world? Just because christianity has been the majority religion in the U.S. does not mean it is the reason behind military action.

I said a growing number of people aren't fooled anymore. You obviously still are.

There are vids all over the place from both Bush's from our middle eastern affairs over the last 25yrs. You should check them out and see how much 'god' is mentioned.

Then look up propaganda from the Hitler era and see how much talked about communism being 'the debils work'.

The other crazy theories you speak of are more than likely the real reasons we're over there, but it's always advertised to us citizens here at home as god and country.


Obama is really the first taboo in the sense that he's a muslim that took office while we were in the middle of a war with muslims.

In my opinion, a stable economy is key to a stable society. I think it would be far more helpful to eliminate whatever is disrupting an economy and help people in their own country prosper rather than bring them here.


For example, I once talked to a Mexican who was in the U.S. illegally. He said, with an extremely frustrated look on his face, that he would rather live in Mexico but the drug cartels caused too many problems. He said there was a bus load of people killed outside his hometown and it just sat there for days before anyone bothered to go see what happened.

In short, eliminate the drug cartels to help people be happy in their own country. Eliminate radical muslim groups to help people be happy in their own country.

Intent is quite the bitch when it comes to known criminals. Can't make a move on them until they do something. Which is, pretty damn stupid. If you know there's termites in your house, you're not going to wait til they cause damage...

Has the younger generation COMPLETELY lost their ability to "Tinker"?

To start from scratch, blank canvass, and build what is envisioned in their head? Then freestyle a bit and "tinker" when something doesn't work EXACTLY as they had hoped?

What kills me is seeing such a huge number of younger people asking what I'd consider elementary questions outside of the noobies section.

"What gearing do I need to run this motor?" Seriously?
"How do I mount these proline tires on these wheels? It's IMPOSSIBLE!" No its not sissy, figure it out.

Do not! get me started about the newbs here. I think I expressed an opinion a page ago.

Yes, we all started as newbs but I certainly knew the very most basics. Some people have a brain that works in a mechanical knowledge way, and some don't. And can't grasp it. I see it numerous times daily here. Holmes said to me recently, instead of being an ass to people just move their threads to newbie. I think I'm breaking records moving posts these past few months.

With todays people you end up with:


Man in a dress winning woman of the year.

Teachers being fired for expecting students to come to class.

People protesting a comedy movie because it makes fun of somebody.

Groups of people burning down their city when they make up fake facts, then get mad about them.

And my favorite of the day: Yoga class canceled because “there are cultural issues of implication involved in the practice.”



With pussies like this, how can we expect them to figure anything out on their own.
