Hey TCS/Harley
Delrin spring issue:
Rig worked on same set of springs for probably 8 months worth of my abuse (if it can be broke I will break it,lol) till I did something stupid which I wont get into, but lets say no traction bar and carpet dont mix, busted both rear springs. No biggy, my dumb a** ideas and I knew better. The problem though, I bought a new set, got to drive the truck ONCE not even 1/3 of the way through a pack and broke a rear again. Not on the rocks either, i dropped the rig from about 8 inches up onto gravel, did that I dont know how many times, hell the rig fell off the 3 ft ledge and rolled 15ft down a steep hill last year more than once and never hurt it, but this time I BUSTED A BRAND NEW LEAF!!! Question lies here, is there a break-in I missed reading, more along the lines of "dont tdrop your rig or jump off cliffs on the first run"??? I just ordered now 3 more sets (2 2.5s and 1 1.5mm) but dont want to go through them in a month. THis rig is built the EXACT SAME as it was when the leafs first came out and I bought some then (including the weird front ones that work backwards, which are STILL going strong) and the first set was great, 1 set of leafs, maybe 2 in a season/year, I am more than happy there. Delrin is Delrin, it isnt going to change, leaf designs are the same, SO WHERE DID I GO WRONG??? Harley or the other guys that have ran them for a while, HELP,lol.
Thanks.
