HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35!

Update, I got the flu after thanksgiving and am catching up on emails. I'm not sure which of the last 5 you sent are worth responding to. Last I read these will "never happen" and you weren't interested so I took you off the list. Either be patient or move on, otherwise you are wasting both of our time.

New batch of cans are done and faceplates should be done today. I forgot about thanksgiving and didn't calculate that into the machinists time. They look really nice, they are v4.5 ish or so. v5 will look mostly the same externally but be lighter.

Good to here your feeling better. Did you have a chance to glue the Magnet's as that is what I was told you where waiting for last.

what list? there a list :ror:

As we had discussed in one of the many previous emails, I was waiting on the aforementioned cans so we could install the magnets for your set saydee.

Right now the waiting list is about 20 deep, we are not taking payments until they are made as the design is changing and beta manufacturing is slow. Once the v5 design is done we will make tooling for volume assembly. There will not be further wait for moldmaking, to meet our tolerance needs we have decided on a fully machined motor.

95 Geo, send me an email about the wait list.

The ribbing is for heat sink and to reduce the weight. But really I just like the way it looks. They run cold and we could have just turned the entire can down.

Finished up a few sets for Japan today. One set for Yoshi and another set for a giveaway winner at Nationals! I did additional work on the Flow motors to refine the magnet layout. As you can see, the weight increased. Additional magnets were installed to increase the stall torque while startup characteristics were unchanged. KV was reduced 10% and magnets were increased 20%. It will make a really hoss set of motors .

New version cans coming our way so we can start building more.

Puller 500 v4.6 (on the right) drops an additional 7 grams from the 2.xx designs shown in the thread. v4.5 (on the left) drops 3 grams. Both v4 designs reduce airgap by 50% to increase torque and brake, only allowable because startup has been refined since v2 designs were first made.

Rolling along nicely, although slower than I would like "thumbsup"
