Hit & Run Wraith - Ultimate G6 Machine

Rig ran great today, crossed the line first on stage one. Stage 2 starts in a few hours. Hoping to keep the run going. My only concern is the water and mud effecting ant of the electronics.

I imagine he did because I drug my vanquish light bar to the point it flipped backwards. It was a tough course and luckily I slathered my rx8 and the sons brxl in aircraft corrosion x. It was a fun course and harley got a very nice wine glass for his driving. Too bad he didnt get miss missouri though:lmao:

I haven't got to sit down yet and write up a recap of the weekend but I hopefully will get to start on it tonight.

The night stage was awesome, the MORE lights were very clear to distinguish between the rest!

And while just finishing was awesome, it was even better to bring home the cup!

Have you talked about what light bar that is? Is that a vanquish 5 inch housing with the More light in it?

thanks Harley, you gave me alot inspirations and I have a question here actually two, first is you use the dual servo setup, but I dont see the second servo in your pictures, how that is done? I tried to search a bit in the forum about the duel servo steering but no luck and secondly, futaba bls157 is water sealed, does it mean it is waterproofed already out of the box? or still we need to do something to get it waterproofed? thanks in advance.

After running the truck I decided to skip adding rear steer. So that is why you don't see it.

The Futaba servo is waterproof right out of the box. Many of the Futaba servos are and have been for years.

Hi - I see that Tower has marked the BLS157 as discontinued. Are you aware of a replacement? Looking for something high end. Thanks!

Yes, I wasn't very happy to read that either. They are replacing it with a SBus version of it, the BLS177. For us the specs are the same but the cost will be higher. Kind of a bummer but I am still not aware of a standard size servo with that much power and speed.

Parts have started to roll in.

First off, from Holmes Hobbies, my new Tekin ROC 412 3100kv motor and Castle Mamba Max Pro ESC.

Harley any chance of getting the castle link setup that your using posted? Or a good baseline to start with?
I have a 9 lb Wraith with similar drive train same motor and ESC.

I'm out of town for the next couple weeks so I can't upload the file.

My settings are very basic, from memory I believe it's something like this:
High power startup
3v per cell cutoff
Full sensored operation
Straight throttle and brake curves
35% Drag brake
Crawler Reverse
100% reverse strength

Thanks a lot, I will see how it works for me then adjust from there.

I'm sure you have ran this rig to death by now! How has the corrosion x worked for you so far? Have you reapplied more, or still rolling on the original treatment? I'm about to buy some, but wanted your input!"thumbsup"

CorrosionX worked great, now that I have the truck torn down I may reapply. However I may just wait until the next time I think I may be running in mud/water.
