Hit & Run Wraith - Ultimate G6 Machine

I'm well aware they've been being built for a long time. I'm just talking about the amount of IFS vs SA discussions that go round and round.

I just still don't see the big G6 advantage when we are looking at a medium run/jog speed (especially @ my crippled speed). The Terra X is where I see them killing it in comparison.

I don't know that the Exo VVD's will ever hit the market, but I'd like to see the option come around as well. For now, I have put the idea of the IFS to the side. This setup worked too well on all the areas where it needed to to think about needing a change along those lines.

With axial discontinuing the exo kit is vp really going to spend much more time with exo r&d?

At full droop pinion should in a perfect world make a straight line. Shouldn't matter if its the rock jock or plastic housing.

Probly just me being picky but I'd expect a rig of this caliber to have decent looking pinion angles.

Often times bolt on parts won't do it. But again my being picky since you say they're operating well within there range

A good pinion angle not only looks better but also provides better clearance on the rocks.

It has been a crazy week trying to get everything buttoned up for the G6 this weekend in STL.

I will have details on all the changes soon. I had to get the new Vanquish Rigid light bars with the MORE inserts installed first thing. The 5" top bar was easy since I had already fabricated the mount. However the new 1" bar took some work. I have very little clearance up front between to fit the bar. I didn't want it pushing past the front of the bumper and my servo horn gets dangerously close during the suspension cycle. I fabricated some new simple L brackets to keep it as low as possible and mounted it up.

A bunch of rewiring in the truck and then.......

Again, I'll have a bunch of details to come but I had to share this one first. The amount of light is insane, not comparable to standard light bars of any type. 8)

MORE also offers the ability to mix and match emitter colors in a single strip. He teased this picture of a Ultra4 style rear light bar the other day and I think that I MUST have it. Over the top cool!

I use nanotechs in helis planes and cars and love them. why spend more for high dollar lipos??? even standerd turnigys are awesome just make sure the battery is capable to do the job you ask it to do.

heres how I torture test my turnigy batts with spotlight

What issues have you had with the nano tech lipos ?
I have been using them for a while and all is good.

I love the standard Turnigy's but the Nanotechs were garbage compared to the specs advertised combine with poorly matched cells that caused low charges.

I would never buy them again, I'll stick to the slightly more expensive Turnigy's that are running larger cells.

Did J.J.Abrams take that pic, talk about lens flare...? ;-)

That blue front turned out better than I expected it would. I don't know if that will count towards your 5 scale "Blues" musical items, you might have to to a song and dance number for the judges. :ror:

Good luck at the G6.

I haven't found banks any better the standerd turnigys I try and buy 5c charge rate turnigiys for fast recharge times normally these are 40c dish charge rated.

I thought the nanos cost more. I've got a few but lots if standerd turnigy. I've also had thunder power and Hyperions to me these high dollar batts are a waste of money. Get like three turnigies for the price of one of those

Did you smack the light bar? It looks like it's points up into the sky
