i noticed in that pic that the ones on the vehicle actualy look like rubber tires. but the other set look like hard plastic. so if i were to go buy a set what would it come with? 1 bogger and 1 tsl?

so its basicly what you show in the pic. ok so i need to buy 2 kits to get 4 tires i want. (2bogger's and 2 tsl's) what are the dimensions on them? like height, width and rim size?

i had actualy thought of using the mini lst it would be super easy conversion to the width was just about right on the spot just didnt have the heart to kill the mini lst also just a thought for ya those fly wheels bfg mud trerains the low profile jobs look kille under that body

Rick made up a decoy axle today to get started on the rear. Eventually the threaded rod will be replaced with a 5mm hardened steel rod. I just have to get a 4mm die first.
Rick pushed the axle into position for mock up.
After bolting some B4 buggy springs to the axle, Rick went too work on the rest of the hardware.
I helped Rick with welding the long arm mounts on again. After putting the links on we no longer needed the jack.
Rick then went to work on the spring mount.

mnster i would just like too say your an amazing guy, no matter what build your doing,whether its a boring vehicle or not i'm always drawn in and check back almost every 5 minutes to see if theres any updates. it's like a comic yet mixed with weed you know some point your gonna have to stop but you cant help it!

Rick got to work on the rear suspension today. He started out by measuring the coil bracket he made last time to determine the place to mount the spring buckets.
After he marked the holes, he drilled them and began to tap them with 4-40 threads.
Digging in the parts box, he found these old Kyosho shock seal caps.
He fastened them down to the coil bracket.
Rick then started on fabbing up a rear shock setup.
After finding the proper place for everything, he told me what he wanted and I helped him make some hoops. After I made them Rick went to work on cutting the hoop brackets out.
After brazing them in they were good to go.
The rear is now finished, it's droop needs to be trimmed up with some travel limiters in the shocks to prevent the coils from going to far away from the buckets. New traxxas rod ends are on the way thats why there are a few nuts missing.
Body will sit a lot lower then this, Rick and I just have to figure out what to do with the minivan style bumper on the front so we don't get a whole lot of tire rub.
Currently at the 3 tire mark for flex which seems to be good. Suspension needs to be tuned a little in the front to drop it down. It's running prerunner style currently.
