Smaller and lighter? It sure looks like it fits well. Good work! I have a 3D Printer but I need to find out about this ShapeWays place. That looks great!
so was that about 40-50 usd to print? looks awesome and a great way to get better clearance for shafty's! I bet a lot of time looking at numbers went into this before the first print. unless you have some laser magic lol.
The final price is arround 35$.
No magic laser !! Only lost of time
are you going to do a front axle? :ror:
This is a recipe for bent axle shafts.
I have just read this on fb... Read it twice here cause I trully enjoy your work!
Very nice !! "thumbsup""thumbsup"
Yes, it's more easy. But the fact that the gearings is not aligned complicate the modelling of the axle), because for it that I began with AR60 axle, simpler to model. Thus here is the current project, a AR60 rear axle (compatible with everything the Axial part). All ways interesting to follow your project.
Just wondering...wouldn't it be easyer for you just to print the hole axle shell in 3D ?
Thanks "thumbsup" I wait a new prototype for complete tests on the rocks :mrgreen:So much yes! Once again!
