Check out MD Scaler on Facebook for events and information on crawling. Also there is another one called purpose built crawler course and backwoods rc on Facebook. I'm down south in Lexington park. Everything is far for me so I usually drive over to Fredericksburg and crawl at Ficklin island. My favorite spot in Maryland is Sugarloaf mountain, its amazing. Lots of people crawl there

I will need to check out those FB groups. I recently started building crawlers and was starting to scout out spots. I work in Gaithersburg and live near Olney so there are a lot of options depending on the day.
Sugarloaf is on my list and once the heat settles, I am going to spend my lunch hour walking around Seneca Creek Park looking for spots. I also think Black Hills park in Germantown might have some potential.
Rdubb, thanks for the tip. I still haven't had a moment to get over there but I know the exact spot you are describing.
Revin9k, I may be up for double rock closer to the fall. everything is pretty hectic at the moment but I think I need to check out that park either way and had not heard of it prior.
My son and I are in Baltimore. He's got a Tamiya CC-01 (FJ40) and I'm still putting together a TF2 build. We go to:
Honeygo
Rocks SP
a couple different sections of Gunpowder
Greenbrier
Rocky Point
North Point SP
As a family we're always out hiking; and he and I are always looking for new places to crawl.
As mentioned by revin9k, above, we're looking at the SuperShafty Fall crawl in Oct., as well.
New to scale/crawler RC, currently out of Alexandria. Me and my girl have been trying to find local spots to crawl at and Great Falls is on the list! Glad to see it works out pretty good. Definitely going to make it out there soon.Played hooky and went to Great Falls. Other than dropping my controller (RC4GS) resulting in losing the bottom section of pixels of the LCD, it was a great outing!
