Micro Gate Marker Ideas

the smaller bouncy ball's cut in half.

or you could use them one popper things that you flipped inside out, than sat on the table and waited for them to pop up into the air.

I'm using a CD case for setting gate widths, it gives you a Wide and Narrow option.

How wide are you going?

Well I went looking for the yellow golf balls like Bowtie mentioned but I found some plastic ones, 12 for a 1.50. I cut them in half and they seemed a bit to large, so I cut them down some more, painted them yellow, added a blue arrow and hot glued a penny in them for weight. Just perfect for indoor or outdoor courses. If I was only using them indoors I'd probably find a smaller marker.

I am using the white practice golf balls also for our indoor course. Pretty much setting them at 6" apart and farther. Works good. Will be trying to mod them up for weight with the penny idea and a flag would be nice too.

I know Nerf makes a gun that shoots foam balls and I've seen refill packs for them at Wal-mart. They look like maybe an inch over in diameter.

Or you could get the antenna mount from Jack N The Box and cut it in half, they usually sell them around the holidays for like $1 or so.

ever think of using bottle caps from 2 liter bottles? I am using them now and they work pretty good.

Fill the bottle caps with clay to give them some weight.

I've been using radline tires. I've some how ended up with a whole lot of them.

Thinking outside the "basket"

My wife, son, & I were at the usual familiy get together over the thanksgiving holiday when an idea came to me:idea:

I was sitting across from a hideous cornacopia spewing out fake fruit, leaves, & other various BS when I spotted MICRO GATES:mrgreen:

A trip to a local craft store and $1.99 later and Booya"thumbsup"

Micro Gates that are the appropriate size, shape, and they "hang" on rock well. + they look like little tennis balls 8)

Pull the vinyl grapes off the vine.
Cut in half with a sharp pair of scissors.
Turn the halves inside out & draw your arrows, #s, or whatever on the inside.
Pop 'em back & you're in B'ness!!
