Rock candy raffle crawler build thread

Thats great to hear but not everyone can make the national event to drool over the awesome givaway i will also purchase some decails for the charity i understand you all live states away and its hard to get together to build but if someone offers to go above and beyond it would be in the best of your interest.I sure hope you younfg ladies dont think i am a ass but sometimes you got to do whats right i know the economy is poor but with all the members on this site i figured more ticket sales would of occured.cant wait to see more pics.

we will be taking lots of pictures while we build it, then posting on here to finish the build thread, so it won't just be in-person, we'll document the whole process.

I will be posting pics soon, stickers were to be delivered Monday, but my post man didn't leave the notice till this afternoon , so I will be picking them tomorrow morning and posting a pic, mad force from Greece generously donated them to help us out, thank you so much

I read through this thread drooling over the build. Most probably I will never attend your nationals or any of your big qualifiers to see this build or this raffle take place. Does this mean I have to steer clear of the cause?
Hell I will never even see the face of most of you ladies and gentleman I speak with in here. So what?

BTW less than 6 hours after I mailed the stickers, the daughter of a dear family friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in very early stage. She is 13 and according to the doctors it is quite rare to see a girl this young get sick.
She was lucky to find out quite early and will probably get over it very quickly.
I told my mother about the stickers after we learned the ill news and she said God paid back this gesture with an early notice for this girl.
Thanks Ladies for letting me lend a hand. All this made me alot more human than before. I got more than you did.
I am sure all the good vendors and members that donated feel exactly the same.
Keep up the good work.

Spiros, you are a very generous person and I do think that within helping others you do indeed help yourself and everyone around you. "thumbsup"

wow, that is incredibly rare, she must be meant to do something incredible to have to go through so much so young. I am glad you got involved and helped to build up some karma on her side. If you wouldn't mind I would really like to be kept updated on her condition, and if there's anything I can do, absolutely do not hesitate to let me know.

Doctors said it is extremely rare and most probably is hereditary.
Thank God her father is a doctor too and quite meticulous about health issues.
Biopsy showed that the tumor is malignant. Further samples were sent to US and UK for extensive testing.
Till now the tumor is less than 1cm big from what I hear, but I am not positive.
In any case, all local experts concur that surgery will probably result in 100% success.
I hope for the best.
Thanks for the support Del Montess and Dan. Having lost my father from cancer not long ago, all this brings nasty memories.
I've said it in the past and will again:
This place hosts some of the best persons I have ever met.

wow, it must be so scary at her age, one of my friends was diganosed at age 14 and had a full masectomy at age 15. she just had reconstructive surgery at age 40. luckily it never returned and with todays advancements hopefully your friends daughter will not have to go through the same thing.

A BIG THANK YOU to Rusty Jackson from the Reno, NV RECON club for the donation of a brand new ax-10 bolt kit for our build!!!!!"thumbsup"one of our original donors has dropped off the comp scene for a while (we hope he comes back soon) and Rusty graciously stepped up."thumbsup"

I like those stickers!! Will the people that already got tickets get a sticker or do we have to buy more tickets?

A list of people that have bought tickets already that did not get stickers should get them for SoCoCrawlgirl. Becky has sent a list to her. If you do not recieve them. Please let Becky (Holy Roller) or myself know and we will make sure you get them when Becky gets the stickers from SoCoCrawlgirl.
