mount

ok so since im a douchebag  and didnt even think to look in the txt buildup sticky, nevermind i found it. but instead where can i get a set of the servo mounts? not the plate for the axle, the mount itself. any help would be great

The ones in the sticky are from the stock kit if I recall correctly.

Duratrax and Associated make them also. You can typically get them at the local hobby shop.

I designed a plate where you fit the servo directly, and it stays protected behind the TXT's skidplate.

You actually bolt it on top of the skid plate's holding braces (in the slanting part) which are first cut and permits you to bring the skidplate close to the axel, then you just mount the servo on top. I think it's a great way to protect the servo and axel, plus I am nearly sure that this system gives you more clearance than the conventional way to put the servo to the axel. Sorry that I can't post any pics (don't know how) but I thinks that its a great idea.

Rodrigo.
