Szczerba's 2012.2 Secret Agent'd 3.5 Bodiless Berg

Sounds like AR needs to host a USRCCA event "thumbsup"

I need to mention it to the right folks. :ror:

Petit Jean State Park has tons of camp sites, a few small motels and a new lodge located onto of the mountain. And all sorts of other stuff. 1 Hour drive from the Little Rock Airport.

:mrgreen::mrgreen:

very nice,
congrats"thumbsup"

Thanks. First time to run at the 4lbs 1oz mark. Usually 4lbs 2oz or 4oz. Everything worked nicely though. Reduced voodoo's dropped 28 grams from the setup.

After reading Ashton's write up on the story of Petit Jean I had to go to the site and check it out. Looks like a great location for a larger event. Do you think they'd be open to the idea of hosting an event in the park?

It's a huge state park that holds an Annual Car Show/Swap Shop every year. they are making there way up there this week. They have thousands of folks in the area, so I figure they could handle a crawler group. They also have a small airport and hold Airplane events.

Talking to RolandRockShop, I think it's just a fee. Like $250 for an event of our size. But I'm sure it could go down.

Sounds like an awesome place to hold a Sanctioned event! $250 isn't too bad. I'm in for a road trip...

I camped there for the weekend and must say it was one of the nicest campsites I have been to. It was $20 a night for a standerd tent site with electric and water. The bathrooms and showers where very clean along with the whole area in general. I also must say that the rock is also alot of fun, it's a good mix of high traction and some deceiving slick stuff in the shaded areas! It would be a beautiful site for a National event!"thumbsup"

Thanks. It's not bad drive from the Little Rock Airport either. I've been all over the country in my travels and Petit Jean is as cool as any other.

I know of a crazy Nationals caliber gate to be conquered too! I could have spent the rest of the day trying to get to gate 7 on course 3.

What kind of crazy set that stupid gate up anyways! :lmao:

Tgreer+Rootar = I believe

From ARCC Crawloff at Petit Jean, Arkansas
Thanks to RolandRockShop for the video.

Rig and Shorty VooDoo's were working good. There is a little bounc out back. No pins cut yet.

Course 1
Cameraman didn't make it over until I was doing the Bonus after gate 2.
The gap jump/turtle made me work on this course.

Welp, I was able to finish all 5 of the 2.2 Pro courses at the Holmes Hobbies USRCCA's Nationals this past weekend. They wouldn't let me run the finals course on the clock :ror:
I ended up 34th on the day. Not showing off, not lagging behind. :ror:
I hadn't touched my Berg since the Arkansas State Championship in June. I ran my truck about 1 minute before course 1 Saturday morning.
I did change to the DE Racing wheels which dropped me 2oz on the RTR weight.
Overall I was pleased with my driving.
I ran the 5.25" tall Voodoos that Eddie at Crawler Innovations reduced for me. Golds with no pins cut. Worked great on the rock type and formation.
Rig was 3lbs 15oz

Congrats to the top drivers. Good meeting alot of new folks and seeing old friends too.

The courses were great. Farmer and I setup the Supershafty course.

Thanks to all my sponsors. Thanks for the great products and support.

I am sure some pictures will pop up of my rig before too long. I didn't have my camera/video crew (RolandRockShop) with me this year!

Had a great time at Crawlapalooza #7. Thanks to sponsors, organizers, judges and staff.
Courses were awesome. Very challenging. Steep with ultra traction and slick spots.
I ended up 2nd for the day and some sweet cash money. Truck was working awesome!
