Used SSD M3 bent links and went with the outside mount.

Moved the screw in on my servo horn so it runs parallel. Gives the servo better resolution and holding power.

Shortened all the wire to minimal lengths and soldered the esc's power wires together within 1". Also turned all the 14ga wire to 16ga. I saved about 10g by removing excess wire and running 16ga.

I completely removed all my electronics and sandwiched the two wp1080's. I shortened all the wire to minimal lengths and soldered the esc's power wires together within 1". Also turned all the 16ga wire to 18ga. I saved about 10g by removing excess wire and running 18ga.

Also had to get rid of the mounting plate in the chassis but this moved my top esc down lower and allowed me to run the upper links on the top hole so I could clock my motors more.

I have the same ESCs. Can you show me some pics please? I want to shrink them too :)

You didn't removed the heatsink from the esc? I wonder what will happen if I remove the heatsink ... esc will burn .. or it will work .. :)

Let me know if you de-case your wp1080."thumbsup"

I have opened it. But everything is filled with something like a glue. For the waterproof I suppose. I can't remove this... all the circuit board and the case is glued :(

Pics please"thumbsup"

The resin is the waterproofing poured around the electronics to keep them sealed. I'm guessing it was poured in the casing?

I'm not sure how much is visible in the pic.... but yeah... resin is covering the electronics and the case... it will be kinda hard to remove

Maybe some heat may make the resin liquid again... so I can remove the motherboard from the case. The heatsink is is glued too.. :(

Ordered some CI foams to pick up today. Is the standard/soft ok? Comp cut are not in stock at all at amain.... return and order comp cut?

Returned and ordered some comp cut foams from ci.com. Also picked up an extra outer to dial in the ruptures.

1 x Double Deuce 5.5” Comp Cut Inner / Soft Outer
1 x Double Deuce 5.5” Comp Cut Inner / Medium Outer
1 x Double Deuce 5.5 / 6.0 Soft Outers w/ Tuning Rings

Big up's to eddie @ CI. Received my foams in literally 1 business day and not only was my order perfect, he included a couple free sets of tuning rings for my ruptures. Top notch customer service and products "thumbsup".
