Can anyone suggest a lipo that would fit the battery tray dimensions in the LCC without modification.
Gonna be running the Xcelorin S 17.5T Brushless Combo

what number of cells are you looking for. that would help narrow the search. but i have know idea if the same companys do busniess on both side of the pond

Was gonna point out that im in the UK, thanks for pointing that out lol.

Im on my way to my local hobby store today and was gonna pic one up to get me started. their selection is HERE so my choices may be limited.

my battery isn't much longer than 85mm. much longer and you hit the servo. but i have cut the back lip off the tray off to make it fit. and the width on mine is 32mm but i would say the max width would be 40mm. the height would depend on the holes you have you suspension set at. i would 30mm would be max. does that help you at all

That helps loads. THANK YOU very much guys. Im off there a bit later so I will note down the dimensions you mentioned and see what they have. If they are true to form they probably wont have anything in and its the normal "we can order it in" story. My LCC should be arriving today too so its gonna be a busy day lol.

Once again thank you "thumbsup"

I was using the turnigy 1500's from hobbyking.com , they fit perfect in the battery tray. They also have 1300's that are a tad bit smaller which would work real nice too

yeah, I was gonna mention Hobby king as well. I am running the Holmes Hobbies 1300 mA 3s LiPo's, my Cliffy really likes them... still waiting on a MMP to be able to run the LCC though...

Well, I think I have had success :|

Have just returned back with THIS

Dont know if its the right choice but it fits with plenty of room to spare.

lol, i know. This is where my lack of knowledge has bitten me in the a$$. Thought the MAH and Voltage ratings would be sufficient, but seeing it sat in the chassis, it now barely looks big enough to power my watch

Think some browsing on eBay tonight should be in hand.

The pack you bought passes 7.5 amps, almost enough to power the rx and servo's. You wanna find a pack the passes 40 amps cont and 80 peak IMO, Losi makes a 1650 30/50C thats a perfect fit.
