Our glass guy at work is going to look at the windshield in the next couple days, hopefully it can be properly re-sealed, my hackjob didn't work.

About a month ago we went to look for snow, but due to the horrible weather conditions here in the PNW, there is basically no snow. I've never seen conditions this bad.

Only update is I swapped in a new "used" audio deck to gain abilities to have a working USB for my iPhone to play/charge.

Crossed the Forest Service Road 4610 washout....

Then after several miles of forest service road, we got to High Rock... found a few inches of snow.

Then the little video I uploaded from crossing the 4610 washout.....

The washout was extremely slick..

Got to go play in the snow on Sunday....

At the end of the day a friend sheered the lugs off his spacer. Passing was tricky and I ended up with some red paint on my sliders as I drove over his right side.

How do you like those Krawlers in the snow? Buddy of mine sold his set of 37's because they weren't that good on his Grand Cherokee, he upgraded to 39.5 Irok's instead.

They work fine for my needs. I'm sure with a wider footprint and even lower pressure the Toyota would float better. I had 8psi and there's not much tread left on the Krawlers but they worked fine for me. It all depends on snow conditions, psi, wheelbase, width and weight of the rig. I'd say most of the rigs in the PNW run iroks. It's fun to be different.

Few months back I got new tires to fit the NW conditions better...

Made a short snow trip in April with RBGerrish, who also did a good 75% of the driving in my Toyota.

Then my 10 year old and myself had a mini adventure, 500 miles of pavement, dirt and gravel roads when we hit up the Axial/Recon G6 event in Bend, Oregon.

Here you go Hackster, you're Toyoeep. 75% Toyota and 25% Jeep.....

New tires are much better than the Krawlers, especially since it's not a trailer queen.

I did have it up for sale for a short time on CL as having 4 seats is much more practical. I plan to keep it and use it more. My oldest boy enjoys the travelsadventures in it now. It rides smoother and is much more quiet than what it was.

Snow run from April with RBGerrish driving most the time.
