Got some more done... 1st time making vents like this... Glove box is etched in I also made the ash tray to look like its slightly sticking out. I know the one in my Taco always slides out on its own because its filled with change... Heater control area is started, gotta add the knobs/sliders/controls/whatever you want to call them. and overall view |

Just so you know, there is almost a box that slides in under the heater controls that holds the radio (missing from your pics of the real thing). Sick build as usual!

Got out of work early, came home and grabbed the sammy (I know I should be working on it) and swapped the wheels for a pair of mine (had eddies white wagons on it). Grabbed the camera and headed out side. This thing was pretty much unstoppable mostly because of how light it is, it just floated above the snow, plus I think the directional tires were a big help. The snow wheelin' pics look SICK Mike.., It looks kick ass with the addition of the Warn front bumper and winch..!! I have been waiting to pull the trigger, but I've been collecting all the parts to build a Sammy as well..I might have to steal an idea or 2 from yours..!! |

Been a while since I updated this build...I still havent finished the dash/interior. This is one of my favorite trucks to wheel so I have been using it more then anything. I met up with Eddievedder the other day to return his Bruiser axles to him that I assembled after the 12mm conversion, he said he had a present for me. Well, he hooked me up with a set of 5 1.5 kawada (spelling?) wheels and my RC4WD order just came in that had a few sets of 1.5s so on they went. I also finally corrected the wheel base. I slide the front axle back some so it is more in the wheel wells. Looks a lot better now. Thanks for looking -Mike |
