Had to get your attention to certify its trugginess

Had the day off work, so I got busy with the truggy

Bench seat bottom. Willy's big butt seems to have squashed it a bit. When I said something he just said "look who's talking" and gave me a dirty look. So I tore his arms off til he apologized.

Floor pan

Power brakes, topped up with silicone fluid.

Got this in the mail...

...and stashed a battery in it.

Body mounted, engine compartment gets a little paint. You can see the alternator I made, too.

Willy apologized, so I gave him back his arms. He looks a little cramped in there. He might be happier in a Club or Crew cab, but I remain unsypathetic. Lil bassard hurt my feelings

Coat hangers? They're holding the mesh bed floor in place:

Found this fuel tank out in the yard. I think it's out of that old Datsun:

Installed with filler neck, cap and skidplate:

Reserve fuel:

Hey Willy, I got the one fuel line hooked up, what about this other one?

Just stick a golf tee in it.

Taillights (Willy could only find one blue dot but that's cooler than none)

A little hard to see, but I filled in the existing scratches with silver. New scratches will remain white.

These 1.55's seem a little small. My belly clearance is no better than a Hi-Lift now...

Just kidding. I put them on so I could get to the axles while installing the hardlines...

And the flex line.

Dual-outlet Flowmasters, bent, booger-welded and cracked pipes.

Bug guard with a shout-out to the original build.

More work on the engine room:

Steering box, shaft and rag joint

Heater box and hoses

Hillbilly overflow tank

I've been putting this off long enough, finally worked up the dexterity to do it:

Fan belt made from .020 half round, rust in the unused grooves.

Overall engine compartment shot

Default Nice build

So does the motor look like a motor or does it do anything?
I like the way you paint over the glue insted of cleaning it up first as well. you have a lot of time into this build and that is a short cut most woundn't take, gutsy move on your part. or is it bad painting I'm not to sure here.
