You did correctly install the chain around the alternator bracket right?

Nope, just screwed it into the head where the AC used to live. My white spokes have shipped out so I can start winding this one down.

Damn Stu, this thing has EPIC engine details. I am not sure which is my favorite yet but the vacuum booster line is awesome, the nitrous solenoids INSANE, and the engine chain is just great!

My friend Joe that I worked at a Yota dealer with some years back had a kick as 69 chevelle. It wasnt a show car by any means but it looked good. It packed a wicked drive train set up though...383 Stroker, turbo 350 with a neck snappin shift kit, 12 bolt with a 3.73 posi. His engine had a chain on it because it would snap motor mounts. The header tubes were all crushed too because it would actually just barely get the front tires off the ground and the right rear spring has stoppers in it to keep it from torque twisting. I loved going out lunch in that thing...chirpped 2nd all day long

This thing is so nicely ugly it's hard to believe. The details are mind-blowing!

I am actually surprised you can do this amazing work. It would take me forever to find a tool in your shop.

As always though. Enjoy watching your builds.

And the more detailed it gets, the less stuff I can just let slide. Like the TLT shocks. At the start of the build they could pass, but now they stick out like a sore dick. So I ordered up some RC4WD coilovers. I'll convert the front to droop and use the outer springs for cosmetics only. Rear will remain sprung, and the new springs should support this hog a little better. I hope.

Nope, it's a Colibri butane lighter. Like a mini torch, nice hot blue flame. Great for shrink tube, brass work and nose-hair removal.
