You've got a good start there, and having the 1:1 for reference will make for a good accurate build. I had to use Google images and memory from when I owned a '78 Lincoln with this same engine. That was 12 years ago, give or take.

You want to make some real progress, quit spending so much time cleaning up! I go balls to the wall because I work in a fawking pigpen

Not much of a wait. My shoes came, but no socks:

Probably on a boat somewhere.

Figured I needed something to rattle around in the cab, so I made a .045 cal hand cannon:

Right there on the seat.

Slight winch update. trimmed about 1/8 inch off the body of the winch to tuck in the fairlead, and detailed the fairlead with a little paint. It's still not perfect but it's as good as it's gonna get:

Can o' chaw:

All I want for Christmas....

Gotta have some nitrous lines to go with the tank:

K&N breather and vacuum line for the brake booster

Muffler clamps

Rust on the Hi-Lift

I'll probably use these axle wideners to help with stability. Somehow this thing got really heavy.

Mandatory flex shot

i know your going for usability but this kills the look of the truck. what you have done with accessories to the truck and the chassis itself is incredible. but this just looks silly. are those the tires you are running or do the stompers/slingers look any better on there with the added height

The Stompers and Slingers are a half inch taller.

Trust me, if it doesn't look right I'll narrow it back up.

Time to fix that sloppy 3-link:

It looks like it hits the tire, but it misses by an RCH, and I'm pretty sure the 1.55's sit a little wider anyway.

More anal-retentive detailing:

Power steering hoses

Tranny cooler

Overall gray wash to dull the bright colors a little and age the hoses.

More little details:

Light half full of water

Shackle covering that hole in the bumper

Spare clip for the hand cannon

Overall progress. Still waiting for my wheels to arrive.

I guess that 50-shot was too much for the junkyard motor mounts.

Good thing I had this chain.
