Not much to show for this weekend as far a pictures go. Only drove this rig for a few minutes until the set screw on the driveline connecting the transmission to the transfer case came loose. I was't about to tear down the FJ out in the dunes, so I just drove the other 2 cars I had with me. Going out again next weekend so we'll get some more

Looking good. So overall how do you like having the interior? If you did it again would you do it the same? How much did it raise the COG?

I'll be able to tell better once I have a little more time behind the controller, but it's definitely more of a looker than a performer. That's not exactly bad, because sometimes my other truck will climb things that it definitely shouldn't have. The FJ Cruiser is more realistic all around. So yes, I love having the interior. I would definitely do it again as long as my intentions are not for performance, but for looks and realism.
Will I put an interior in my other rig? No way.... Performance comes first on my other truck. So it really depends on what you're going for.

Thanks! Pics came from heinie_21. I'm really pleased with how this rig performed. Like I said before, it doesn't come close to my class 2 rig, but it exceeded my expectations for a class 1 rig. Very realistic and very fun!

What did you use to hold the shovel and pry bar in place on the roof rack?

Love the trucks, my son really likes the FJs. I would like more pics or info on the Cherokee. I am looking at putting together an XJ and I really like what I can see on the one in your thread.

We live across the border in Nevada. My son and I are looking at attending the 801RC comp coming up in Cedar City. Any chance the FJs will be there?
