Winch and servo question for my class1

Can I use one bec to power both of them or do I need two becs. I am running 3s with an mrc esc to control the winch and a hitec 7950 servo.

Usually, the way a BEC is wired, is it goes between the ESC and the receiver, hence, anything being routed through the receiver would work at the BEC's outgoing voltage.

I think you can run 3s through that MRC esc so no BEC is needed for the winch. Just disconnect the red wire when you plug into the receiver just like you would on a 2.2 pro. Run a BEC for the servo like normal and you will be good to go. I run 3s and 4s on all of my winches using esc's with no problems.

The stock mrc esc will not take 3s, just 2s. Just wanted to check to make sure I could run them both off the same BEC. I power my BEC straight from the battery to the servo and pull the signal wire and put it to the receiver.
