How did you make the pitman arm (i.e., gray piece) on bottom? what is the piece on top (black plastic piece)?

thanks a lot!
Yes, similar. I took a splined Hilux shaft and brazed a homemade pitman arm on it.
Pitman is made from 16 gauge steel and has a 3mm tapped hole for the draglink end.
The black piece is a Hilux servo arm.

Me too! ;)

No detailing on it, but dash/console installed. Got some lights installed and wired.

Man Rok, good stuff! i guess you could use tlt shaft too? thanks for the details. I assume you cut and bent the pitman arm. local hardware store for the steel.

Thanks for the pic of the parts!
Really appreciate the help!

Thanks....yes, I believe you could.

Yes, I cut and bent the arm. Could get the 1/16" sheet steel most anywhere. I have lots of scraps at home.

Okay Jay. Cool. What tool would you suggest is the cheapest and/or easiest to cut the 1/16 sheet metal?

thanks!

For a piece that small you could use a Dremel with a cutoff wheel but it will be slow.
A hacksaw with the piece in the vise can work and just round off the corners with a
flat file when done cutting. It may be easier to drill the holes first before cutting, just
know that if you're going to bend it, it will to tend to want to bend thru one of the holes
where it piece is weaker.
