Instead of 'Z-ing'/dropping the rear of the chassis i decided to just add a big bumper with a winch.

The fairlead was a gift and was made by ImportScooby.
(A nice detail for the carfreaks;the rollers are made out of BMW 850CSI brakeline.)

Thanks,guys.

The chassis ect. will be covered in a similar camo as the body on top of a olivedrab basecolor.(see wheel)

The body will get more camo and when finished i will cover it with TS-80 to create a more even effect.

Not reallly.I don't degrease them so after a few turns/cycles all the paint comes off in those places.

A lot of 1:1 machines, trucks, tanks, ships ect. are painted after assembly.

A little bit of color to give an idea what this thing will look like after completion.
The clamp for the mudflap won't be visible with the body on the chassis.

i understand your concept. next time you build a military vehicle use a model car for instructions to upscale it to 1:10. it looks a lot better when done but very nice1.9er. i am buildinga 1:25 scale rc military vehicle once i find some small rc diffs. i like how you painted the underside. i am thinking desert wear on mine.

Thanks,man.
I'm familiar with upscaling models but i'm not sure how it would help me with this build?
This is purely based on my imagination since it's my entry for a SF/Apocalyps build-off.
