incredible work so far! I like how well those Ultimate Yota axles work w/ the Bruiser chassis, it really makes the track width look realistic. I think you showed me how to get past my 'builders block' w/ my Bruiser chassis.. |

little update but making some progress so i wasnt really a fan of the belly area so pulled the dremel out and after some filing there was no turning back and in when a more scale looking drive train - RC4WD's Killer Case next I got the center console in got some work done on my wheel wells and engine compartment got some GREAT seats from Reign .... these things are the best I've seen yet little fit with the Cobalt 454 in place did some fender fab .... nothing crazy just a bit widening got some lessons in welding and bumper work done - lesson 1 dont weld in shorts even if your only using it to tack no pro on welding but works for getting things into place for brazing later with room for the winch well thats it for now ...... lots more to go Thanks for looking. |

So I've had some time in between a couple other projects and figured Id post some updates. Waiting for a few other things to come together I got the old brakes off and replaced them with some from TDR Innovations http://www.tdrcatalog.com/servlet/th...ake-kit/Detail got them fitted got my frame back from my sandblaster/powder coating guy but just went with a simple cleaning fora rattle can paint job. (leaves room if I want to touch anything up or change something around ) went with a nice gun metal using, caliper paint from AZ. and a little mock up with some things rotors in place .... calipers to follow interior done dash together minus gauges and detail things and the cab almost done with some overall looks ..... thinking its a bit to tall. its either use Bruiser leafs and lower it or put flat irons on the steelies and leave it. and no ..... Rok Lox are too tall and not my fad for this one. well thats it for now ..... back on the shelf and into other projects Thanks for looking. Last edited by Robbob; 07-25-2010 at 03:45 PM. |
