Rather than adjusting the steering/drag links, I'm now waiting to pick up a set of high clearance Axial knuckles. That and I've been sick with the flu the last couple of days. Eventually

I didn't think I had ever seen that on a 1:1 either, but then someone posted up their 1:1 Jeep in that exact shade, so they're out there. Just not that common!

Yep, Dan did a great job on the wheels. I really appreciate him taking the time to customize those for this build

Nice chassis and Build! I like the 3-link panhard front/4-link rear, combo.
Also a huge fan of lowriders. Can't wait to see how the rig performs, surely got the Killer Look, as well!

I saw this Jeep today, what an awesome machine. Granted it wasn't running but just sitting there it looked like it could conquer any terrain.

Ok, FINALLY got it out on the rocks. It's only been finished and sitting in the hobby room for, oh, a month or two now ! Was actually waiting on some high clearance knuckles to clear the custom offset wheels Dan made. Anyways, couple of pics:

Performed really well. I'm really liking having more wheelspeed in the scalers now. Just nice to have it to get you out of a tough spot at times.

There's a few changes I'll be making, but otherwise I'm happy with it. I give full credit to Lance and Devlin for building a great performing rig that I was able to clone My poor fender flares took a real beating. I figured the styrene might bend out of the way, but it just snapped off in pieces instead.

Hey, quit wreaking my Jeep. So what are the changes you'll be making?
So now that you finally had a chance to run this rig, what do you think of the pro-line tires?

I'll likely have to repaint it for you. She's got a few scratches on the body and tubework. Don't worry, the flares will be replaced as well

Probably some weight change in the wheels. Also, the spare tire mount needs to be altered somewhat to make it easier to mount up. It's a pain right now, and if they have a tire change portion at MSD again this year, don't want to be wasting time on that!

I really like the proline tires. They're the best tires I've run in a long time. The Jeep actually made it up on to that rock to the left in the second pic no problem. I was impressed.

Well some of you may know that I normally snatch up ever rig Chris sell's. The same goes for this TJ.
I think it was one month ago that I got the jeep from Chris and then it sat in my office while I was busy with every day life. Well I thought today would be a good day to stretch the jeeps legs. I went to my normal testing grounds. I wanted to snap a couple of poser shots first, so I placed the jeep on a boulder ( the size of a work bench ) and begain walking back to snap a pic. By the time I turned around I saw the jeep sliding off, I made a quick sprint for it, but I was to late.

Chris, be brave and try not to look away.

Wow Justin, the Jeep looks great . Really like the new paint scheme you did on it. I see lots of little details added into the tubework too. Glad you're putting that flux and braze to good use.

I had to have a little fun with you. Glad you like the changes, I didn't want to change to much, I think I did just the right amount.
Thanks again for the flux and solder. It's about time I put that Baby Tube Shark to work.
Let me know next time when your in Calgary, I'll bring it to PM HOBBY to show it off.

Changed over to some Pitbull tires. I knew these tires were awesome, but wow. They work so well on this jeep, I can't wait to do some more testing.

Just some poser shots with the new rubbers.

Looks good with the Pitbulls and new paint scheme.
Best pic is the third one down from the top, in the last set, IMO.
Different angle/view, than others. Shows off the character of the Jeep best.
