So recently took out my rc truck an finally got pics, ran for about 4 to 5 min. and stuff started breaking Haven't finished assessing the damage yet.

An for the broken stuff.
Cracked the plastic bumper mount, need a metal bumper lol

The spare tire mount is driving me up a wall. Have not been able to get it to sit still, thing bounces back in forth like a goth kid at a korn concert. :/

Atop of this, both my drive shafts came off, and my gear box would stick every time my wheels would meet any sort of resistance the gear would slip

Curious if its time for a new rc truck, or do these plastic pieces really have a short shelf life. lol

re gearbox check and tighten the slipper clutch ...its probably loose and that is why it slips. Its the nut on the flywheel ....and put some thread lock to your drive shaft screws.

Alright guys. you are all in for a treat. worked out alot of the kinks, and reconfigured the jeep. mind the small wheel and tire combo for now, will upgrade in due time. But for now just keeping scale for now. also mind the antenna, its just making the reception from my transmitter to my receiver a little smoother (been having issues with that). (btw got a new camera to so my image and video quality will be alot better.)

Here we go

and a 1:1 update for you all as well Painted the wheels, and black jeep emblem

lookin good man! might need to look into getting MIPs or the new style driveshafts, I haven't ran mine much more than 5 feet on the carpet yet. so i can't tell ya how these new driveshafts compare to the MIPs yet. just threw some electronics in the ol' ae-1 esc and ar-1 radio. later on i'll be using my traxxas 4ch with the 4 dr jeep because the winch and getting a cheap 2.4ghz radio for the doncho so i can run them both at one time. and possibly a nice expensive esc, drag brake full featured, holmeshobbies, or the tekken fxr.

btw your trucks are too white! LOL

I was lookin into a new controller. Im not a fan of this axial one any more. I still have not upgraded drive shafts. Idk why but just never got around to it.

And if your referring to my truck as being to clean, you should see it now, its brown. lol

I like the scale look! Don't listen to others that just want to cram bigger tires under every rig.

Lol i know right! thats what every one wants for the 1:1's to. i want to get bigger tires, but not giant tires. the dirt grabbers aren't a very tough tire. Need something that can get through the Florida mud.

Just got some info that might help me get this thing running again (like new). A few of the issues i have run into might have been caused by my water proofing techniques :/

Just ordered a bull dog winch for my cc01 yj and a 27t motor for the jk. Have to do some fixing this week (after I finish moving) and then I will be hitting a trail or to shortly following. Deff gonna bring the camera for that one!

Working on saving some funds to fix the scx10 as well as buy new bumpers, wheels and tires, a winch, a rack and new lights. I finished building the yj so now its time to focus on the jk again. (my axle ended up taking a shit so I have to replace the whole assembly along with the drive shaft.)

New axle and drive shaft now installed, Tires and rims on order. mocked up a snorkel finally. Also on order is a 20t motor, and a new front and rear bumper. Once the new parts are in I will try to begin photo updates again. It has been very tough to do anything of the sort, I'm in the process of getting a house so my time is mostly fixed on that and on 1:1 jeep projects. Bare with me, because After i get moved I will have the necessary setup to really work on my truck and keep updates and as well use it.
