Shon knows where to go when time comes and the options are endless as far as widths and steering. They would definitely be the cherry on top for a rig like this.

Yes they would I might have to get with on some for my next build. As always Shon n Dready are at the top of the field don't know if this one will ever be topped for shear scale coolness!

Plans are to eventually switch to the blackwells stretched to AR width and most definitely 4WS.

I sure do

I would like to keep the tubes square and use some stainless for the extensions so I could weld mounts to them similar to the 1:1. And keep the pumpkin centered. Any thoughts on that Clay?

Stainless or mild steel. Either would be possible and easy to weld to. Weight difference would probably not be worth getting into on something this small between the 2 so its up to you.
With the stainless you obviously could leave them unfinished and pretty though.
Pics are deceiving in the rear cab wall. Looks really narrow. Do you know the width y'all are shooting for on the cab to keep it in specs with the new rules. I'm guessing pure gonna have to make it a least 6.25" at the doors with Wraith width axles. You could get down to 6" with some really narrow hubs.

I was only thinking stainless, one: so it matches the case better and two: slip/wear resistance over aluminum or mild steel.

Pics are a little deceiving, but it is being sized to use AR60's with new 2.2 Pit Bulls. So yes, it will be in the 6.25"ish range to keep it legal.

You'll be good on either material there. My Titan60s never gouge or hang on the steel tubes. Also the custom tubes for BlackRock 60s are smaller diameter than your typical housing and offer plenty of clearance.
Good deal on the body. My buggy is 6.250" at the doors and with the Wraith width custom housings, .350 hubs, brake rotors, and Pits, I'm at 7.500" inside the tires. Running the KMC VP wheels.

About time we had an update and as I'm making good progress here goes.

Width 6.25'' as requested to fit the 7.5'' Axle Gap

Back part I still have got some bits to add on that front screen area and door detail and alos the rear bit that goes over the rear scree but the shape is basically there.

Start of the Front End

More bits added

This was the biggest headache that I have ever had with a body
1 time only never to be repeated but after lots of head scratching...

Making progress its nearly there bit more sanding yet!!
little high in a couple of places

Stay Tuned

It's not far off, At least its recognisable to the Reference Pictures
Once I have a little fettle around the front and add all the welds to the Hood it should look the Buisness.

Thanks for the praise.

I've been on this all day and have nearly nailed it.
Few little bits to do couple of shut lines, door handles, Front Screen, Side Quarters. Gas Cap
And a Vent in the Lower Screen Panel that I might change to something else

Wish I was painting this one because its going to look awesome when its finished.
more pictures:-

Pictures with standard Wraith axle, Locked up Wheels and 2.2 Pitbulls

Spot on Sir! SPOT ON!

If you would like to make another and paint it, you can ship it to Vegas afterward.
