This is incredible, I have been sending links to all my buddies so they can watch this one. I think this will end up being the best rig built on this site!

Nearly Done

Front Screen and Rear Window are In with Rubber Trim.

Got a Simple Dash Panel done and also the frames for the side windows.
Vents in the Screen Panel were a bitch but there there and nearly straight!

Added some detail to the front wings round the front.

Inside (not pretty!!) but surprising tough! Got to give it some Black Paint and a little fettle round the front.
Its going to fit over a full tube chassis hence the distinct minimalistic lack of cross bracing.
Once the Back Panel is in Place it stiffens it up alot.

I was thinking that to.
Although the real one ( small pumpkin ) isn't but if he's going to run blackwell's I think he's going to run into all sorts of clearance issues.

Depends which axle I use and how the front tube work get's done. If I go the blackwell route, centered for sure.

Once I start on the chassis, I'll figure out which direction I want to go axle wise. And since the 1:1 is not finished yet, it will be my interpretation of how it may be done. Body is spot on the rest is sorta open yet.

Sneak peek of my wheels that will be going on this build. The 16 holes in the face of the wheel will get scale bolts from Locked Up R/C and will also use SLW style hubs.

Thanks Neil! Patrick and I are working on these for this build. They started out as a 1.9 SLW Diffuser wheel, then Patrick modded it to 2.2 and added the bolt holes.

Not sure about your choice of painting this Pink though?
It might clash with those wheels

I know, but if I have the wheels done in purple it should be fine.

So I'm going for:-

Grey/ Turquoise/ Red / Orange/ Black / White and some Rust here and there.
Bit of silver round the welds blah de blah.
I'll Clear it in places and leave some of it flat.
