Damn goat, you've been an inspiration for my Hi Lift build up. Yes, i have given in to the temptation; it is SOOOO worth it.... Back on topic; though i'm not running a Novak in mine (college student remember ) i'm gonna do mine up the same way. Only difference will be the black and gold paint job (go Stillers!). Looks bitchin' goat; kinda wish you were near PA so we could bump heads once or twice in a comp |

Sure, but you'd want to swap out the driveshafts for some Pede sliders. The stock driveshafts won't stretch that far.

I replaced the roll bar with a toolbox. Now the body clips are hidden, and I'm not tempted to pick it up by the "handle" And added a pair of aluminum bed rails to get some color back in it. Last edited by microgoat; 10-03-2006 at 09:59 AM. |

Now it's time to confuse the RC geneaology a bit. Try to follow along.... I tried the Wolf out on some cut-down Moabs. I loved the performance, but not the look. It looked like a truck that I could never climb into. But, the wheelbase is within an RCH of the BB-51 that I'd built for the Scout project. And the BB-51 has a lot more center clearance, and TLT axles would tuck the wheels into the fenders better... Time for a body swap! Now the F-350 has gone on a serious diet and crawls a whole lot better. The speed with the Hyperion outrunner is similar to second gear. It still looks stock, if you don't look too close I've raised the back of the bed since I took this pic, BTW. Now the BB-51 Scout is a Hi-Lift Scout, and has a proper leaf-spring suspension under it. The time-killer was un-gluing two sets of tires to put the mini-Moabs on the white spokes I also installed axle wideners to keep the tires off the knuckles. |

No way am I waiting for the Scout body to come back to drive this thing. I've got this hacked-up Bronco body laying around, so drill four more holes and viola. Might give you guys some ideas, too. |
