Thx myth! Me too haha.. So some updates.. small but updates. Got the motor and esc mostly wired up. Using a piece of shit iron made it very painful.. and in order to reduce the amount of wire for the servo bec splitter and winch controller i orderrd servo plug blanks. Male and femal side. Including pins and recievers for the wires. I should be able to really cut down on the amount of wire needee and save some room. Also got the cowl from vengeance made up. Its slightly tapered in from back to front and the backside is undercut. Came out well. Need some filler to smoth things out where it meets the body. I used regular pvc cement to adhere everything together. Works like a charm. And unlike tenax 7 its a gel so you can control where and how much is applied much easier. |

had about an hr of free time today so I whipped up the rear anti rock setup. went to a local hobby shop and picked up a length of 3/32 piano wire. when I got home I decided where I wanted it to pass through the chassis. that just so happened to be right where a hole already was, so I drilled them out to 3/16 and brazed in some tube to act as the torsion rod guides. then I measured the length the torsion rod needed to be and ground flats for the wraith anti roll arms to attatch. once I had all that done the rod was just to stiff. so I chucked it up in my drill and used my dremel to reduce the overall diameter in the center section about 3.5 inches total. made it less stiff which is what I wanted. im doing this mostly cause my shocks are inboard mounted and that type of setup can get sloppy sometimes so this will keep the rear under control. once testing begins I may reduce the shafts diam. again to get it where I like it. anywho enough typing heres the pics. |

Got my links back and got the wiring to functional point. Did some playing on my pile to test the roc412. 1 word 3 syllables Ahhh...maze...ing! Only 1 prob.... gotta wait for my tekin hot wire to reverse motor rotation. My esc doesnt have the firmware to do that via stick programming. And lemme tell ya... this thing crawlsx climbs and overtakes lije a freakin dream.. see yall in aug.... KC out |

Ive been looking at the TZI World Winch but with running the Dinky Divorce Kit I dont think Im going to have the room up front. Id love to see how youre going to mount this to potentially give me some ideas.
