Thanks! The mesh is brass screen material, much like regular metal screen, had this left over from a mock-up we performed at work. Not sure where it came from, Sorry.

Since all the Radio Shacks closed that were close to me had to build a small receiver box. Just just .040 styrene for the box. Also went for first test drive. I really like the IFS, had a couple of bugs, the Axial 8 hole wheels interfere with the RS4 hub carrier, so will need to get a set of beadlocks with no rear locking rings. Other wise until I start to beat on it more, so far so good, no popped dog bones! Few test drive pics |

Finally got some work done on the interior, I know its not perfectly to scale, but when I conceived this build utilizing the IFS / HPI - RS4 suspension parts, I knew it would not be a scale build. More custom and one I'd build if I had the cash and full scale garage! I used us push pins with black heads for the knobs, a few Freqskins decals, a few Axial Wraith decals, speakers, gauges etc. The bench seat is formed out of roof flashing, and for now it's black duct tape and foam for the cushion until I can find some scale fabric that I had in mind. Of course I ran out of silver solder so the cage is partially complete. The spare will sit flush into the radius of the cage when complete. Lots more to do! Ok, finally found Movie Maker on my laptop....here's my first "spice and post" of a vid with some audio. Maiden voyage 2.0 went awesome. Adjusted a little preload, went with 40wt Losi oil in the front. Really like the movement of the A arms vs. live axle set up. Next is finishing the cage and bumpers. Little breakdown Motor is a HH 13t Crawlmaster Expert ESC is Castle MMP Lipo is a 2s - don't believe I'll put 3s to this rig until I feel more at ease about the durability of the HPI / Axial components Blue Monkey front Yeti spool Axial 38/13 front hardend ring and pinion Front shocks are just Honcho stock units for know Rear shocks are my canteliever set up, Traxxas Mini E-Revo w/ rockers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7uz...ature=youtu.be Couple pics from this morning - love the tire squash! |

Thanks MountainStorm.....didn't even notice the negative star. Wasn't paying attention, enjoyed the build to much to notice. To bad he's anonymous, as I'd like to see his builds so I can gain some knowledge from him.

Looking great Scott!!! lot of detail but no tail pipe, I'll let it slide this time but the next build has to have one or two. LOL Sean |

Damn.....I knew I missed something! Funny thing is - is that I have a set of RPP faux side exhaust and almost installed them. Just didn't look right. May still add something. Good catch.
