I was worried about clearance with the 1.9 on the madforce, did not know size of the center section but with the mamba max 7700 i am worried about the strength of a tlt or cc-01. do you guys have any other suggestions? i am working on fab'n up the steering knuckles now i'll get pics this weekend when their done should look pretty cool but unfortunately no chance of going 4wd.

Im running a mamba max 5700 with highlift axles, everything is fully locked in 4wd too. No problems yet (crossing fingers) The tlt axles are weaker IMO but with the new cvd's coming out you might be fine |

The knuckles are getting close to being finished , still need to put holes in them and do a little more finish work but you guys get the idea. |

I really like this truck i'm a HUGE off-road racing fan. My next project is gonna be a CORR truck if i can find/make the right body. Keep up the good work. Quote:
Do you mind me asking what class you raced in? My cousin in the chief mechanic for one of the light buggy racers, and he is sorta trying to get his driving career off to a start also. | |

Everything looks great . I see you ditched the aluminum chassis. What are you using now, steel tubing or rod? How and were are you going to be mounting the shocks? What kind of steering set-up are you using? Looks complicated. Keep up the good work. Later |

Very interesting steering setup, Im waiting to see how well it works out for you. Im impressed though, its amazing what you have fabbed yourself. Thats awesome, and youll never have to worry about broken parts because you can always make new ones yourelf. |

I tried to get some beter pics of the steering setup. The shocs will be mounted to a long bolt going through the to servo mount hole behind the bracket i will use a 4 in. shock and should get full travel out of the suspension that is shown. There will be a short link between the servo horn and the steering bellcrank . right now it almost gets 90 degrees of steering. I bet you wish your TLT crawler had that much!

Dang thats alot of steering. You might want to put in some bump stops on the bellcrank to keep it from steering so far, I would imagine that would be hard on the servo with that uch steering. Looks awesome though, again, very nice fab work, you have a good imagination. Keep up the good work.

i wanted a lot of steering to be able to pull out of some nasty power slides but i do think thats a little much . the new chassis is steel rod. i also am getting parts for the 2 speed in and ordered the mamba today also. still need a rear axle though probably just gonna try a TLT.
