the fj 40 body was discontinued a while ago but you can find the bushwhackerbody on tower which is a lot like it

the fj cruiser is found on ebay search for rc fj

I got my XC from Tower... Around $160 with a basic ESC. Just got mine today, waiting on bearings.

I saw it run at Destroyers scale event last month and it was slow. I had a 65 turn in my FJ and it was a good bit slower than mine.

After seeing his with the gd 600 I will probably do the same.

Wow jason, that thing is freaking sweet. With the FJ shell did you have to do much modding to get it to fit? I wanna build a FJ40 scaler but don't wanna have to keep modding stuff.

Thanks

JIA i did the same mod, only thing i used the JRH original outrunner on it, had to shave a little on the battery tray but the stick packs still fit, i geared it with a 16 tooth pinion, and it is really slow now, and it doesn't get bound up anymore, the torque is amazing, but you have to very careful with the throttle as you can break parts easily now.

i have really been looking into getting a CC-01, and i was wondering, is it possible to "lift" the suspesion by using say 1/8"-1/4" spacers and longer bolts where the suspension attaches to the chassis? kind of like how they do suspension lifts on real 1:1 IFS trucks?

and i think the FJ body looks great, it looks like it came from the factory like that!
