| KJ's F-250
Forgot to post this up on here so I catch up from another forum So last year I bought my daughter Madi a falken g6. Which she ran all of three times. Fast forward to my ifs raptor. I needed parts. There was her brand new jeep that hadn't been turned on in months. Needless to say that didn't go over well and I promised her I'd buy/build her something nicer. So I picked up a deal and bought her a few upgrades. Should be a fun build. Hopefully everything should just transfer over to the brazin chassis. Parts list Proline Hyrax 1.9 tires Brazin scale hi-lo chassis Robinson racing idler gear Rc4wd xvds Hitec 5645 servo Scx10 axles Scx10 trans Proline f250 body Rc4wd tube bed Wertymade front bumper Rc4wd winch Heyok 3position controller Holmes hobbies brxl Castle bec Holmes trailmaster 21t 550 motor Vp discontinued wheels Axial shocks Junfac driveshafts Axial bomber kit links Flysky radio Scale accessories Still needs Hitec 7954 Heyok winch 2 position controller or better rx/tx Crawler innovation foams Axle upgrades Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk Last edited by King James; 04-08-2017 at 09:04 PM. |

This is what the truck looks like. Basically ready to rock, until I get my hands on it lol Got this rc4wd bumper and winch for it I got her the rc4wd flat bed like this truck is using. This is the brazin hi-lo chassis I got for her. It's supposed to be a real performer. This shows how the chassis has the trans lower that a stock scx10 to keep a real low center of gravity. Got some more parts in for Madison's build. Rc4wd flat bed, spare tire mount. Bumper winch and winch controller. Scalerfab sliders. Bad part is none of this is working out the way I wanted. The chassis interferes with the bed and spare tire mount. The scx10.2 trans interferes with the front 4 link and suspension. Scaler fan sliders have link risers that don't match use with the chassis. Gotta decide what's gonna make it on here. Something's gotta go. And to top all of it off. The damn mount for the rc4wd tube back broke before I could ever mount it. The donor chassis came in today and Madison and I tore right into it. She prepped the body for paint while I swapped axles over. Then she help paint the body. She wanted it dark blue up top and light blue down low. We accomplished that it's a little dark. She likes it though and that's all that matters. Couldn't use the sliders, they were to long. Worked on Madison's truck some tonight. Swapped to some scx10 shocks. Feels so much better now. Rc4wd want me to mail them back the bed. I think I'm just gonna weld it, that's stupid for me to have to pay to ship something that broke. I still need to stretch the rear about a 1/4 inch and then put the electronics in it. Not sure where they're gonna go yet. Might pick up some sort of interior for it. Worked on this a little the last couple nights, installed a dinky honcho interior, some front inner fenders, and mounted the flat bed. Had to cut the lexan for the shock towers. Painted it a flat metallic blue. Came out pretty nice looking I think. Worked on Madison's truck some more. Mounted up a wertymade stinger front bumper and rc rock armor rear. Made an electronic tray and wired up the truck. Waiting on some links so I can mount the 550 21t Holmes motor Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk |

Installed the VP titanium link kit for the f9 axles. Well 6 of them lol, 2 were missing from the bag , oh well waiting on VP to send the other 2. But they worked well. Wheelbase is at 12.6. The front uppers were short enough to run the Holmes 21t 550 motor. Installed some little Nova 4.75s in the hyrax tires. Just waiting on some wet noodle wires and it will be ready to go. Guess this has seen a couple more changes. The other links came in as well as some black curries. Over understand, vvds, VP titanium steering links. Some voodoo klr gold wrapped around 2.2 methods with blue rings. Lil Nova 4.75 comp cut soft front, 4.75 standard medium in the rear. Since this primarily for my daughter Madi, j installed Madison from The Walking Dead and a few accessories that she liked. Everything is up and running except for the winch. I bought a 2 position controller but can't get it to work. Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk Last edited by King James; 04-22-2017 at 12:15 PM. |
