Alright.. Here we go..

Got my shapeways parts mounted. Talk about a "toit" fit fer the servo.

Esc/ chassis stiffener is poifect.

Just need to make some battry mounts for both sides so i can just unplug and poke ther other one in on the trail. The truck will just carry the other usless battry so i dont have to. No.. Its not a slave.

Going to remake my lower links with these delrin pieces from rc4wd (they are now sold out, sorry boys) so i can mount my shocks lower so i dont have to use an ugly shocktower set and so i can possibly have my hands try and make some scx10 shocks shorter and use a set of krazed builds tuning pistons. Add a little color where i cant see it and possibly allow me to tune this wreck a bit.

Links and what not are done. But this picture you are about to look at is a breakthrough for this rig. I had to drill out a few of those stock scx10 wheel nut covers. And i was left with this desperate attempt at a shock setup. If i used stock springs they would rub and bind very bad on the chassis rails. Only thing left is to mount the body. More on that at a later date.

Rc4wd king upper springs. Touring car springs fit as well.

While picking up some body mounts i had to snap a couple picks next to the AE mini me. Lol. Talk about a tiny tire. The cr12 has really big pumpkins.

Rig is done aside from me mounting the body. Holes just need to be drilled and fenders need to be trimmed. This is the end of the build for me. Im satisfied. This one is going on the shelf.. For now.

This tiny truck showed up at work today.
I through a set of rtr treps on it to see how they look. I like it. Fenders will need a trim still.

Still need to mount the body and trim fenders. And get a tx/rx for both. Hopefully here soon .

But I can throw some other electronics in it to play with it from my rtr rgt. I've been using them as test electronics.

I would suggest leaving the fenders other than minor corner sanding for steering in the front(if needed). Get some smaller tires for it. Say 4.19 MTR’s or some 4.19 pitbull offerings. Both are very nice tires. I think the fenders look nice and if you can make it work.... save them.

Yeah. I agree I put my old rgt clone flat irons on last time after work on my 1:1 xj. The smaller tire fits better. Minor corner trim still might be necessary.

Put my test electronics in last night and crawled around on the wood pile. Its a fun little rig. No drag brake sucks.

Totally cool rig Hillbilly! Love the body (timeless). I personally cannot wait to see it sitting on some smaller more accurate rubber
