Ok, got some progress done yesterday. First I drilled the holes to mount the MSD winch. With the shipping/mounting plate it was a breeze getting it lined up. Then I test fitted it with the grill.

Mmmm, nice & tight.

Also had some ax10 dinky links made. Since I'll be running a frame mounted servo, the link/servo mounts came off & I chopped the mounts off.

Looking good.
I'm beginning to think it's going to be a race between us to see who takes longer.

I think, you thinks right. Was gonna try & get the plate welded today but the shop next door is closed.:-( I'm gonna have to wait 'till next year.

As for the rest of the week & weekend, I might try to get the tires done. TSL swampers like Guido???

I'm going to be lazy and use stock Flatirons.
I do have something in mind for the wheels but that will wait until later.

Cool! I really like the look of the sanded down stompers, looks like a tsl tire. Did you use a belt sander?

I guess a day off of work really lets me get some things done. I hope to make some pannels & some interior pieces tomorrow. I got the links on the right way right?

I chucked an axial stub shaft in my drill press, mounted the rim/tire & sanded it with a grinder w/ a sanding pad.

That's the same way mine are.I think it's just personal preference which way to mount them.
