Just to spool it up. Plugged it into my drift car.

I had a hard time keeping the line from slipping. What's the best way to secure it to the spool & what's the best rope/line to use?

I also noticed that it seemed to 'walk' while not in use. The sub-trim slowed it down to almost nothing, but still a very small amount of movement. With the DX3R there is no deadband adjustment.

There is a notch machined into the spool, I took my line and glued it into that notch with ca, then spooled it up.

I use 100lb tess sturgeon fishing line.

I have a DX3R and that is what we used to test them all, the sub trim should do it, but if not you can always put a switch on it like grizz did. All 5 of mine here at the shop work without walking on the dx3r.

It's pretty much done for now. I just got word that the grill has shipped so next week I'll get that welded in. But for now, I'll run it like this.

Some team stickers.
