| The wheels are Axial 8 hole beadlocks you can get them at TCS here. They started out as satin chrome and I painted them red. The rock rings however, are custom and you can't buy those anymore. Quote:
You are right Andy, top 5 is nothing to be ashamed of and I am happy with the performance overall. If I would have had time to wire in the Torquemaster things would have gone smoother but I wouldn't change anything about how I decided to build for this event. Well, except puttin in the plastic spur gear adapter, that was a lesson learned and bad luck. But Pepe performed well in each event an proved to be a well rounded rig, and that was the idea. I also want to thank all of Pepe's fans for the encouragement, both here and at the event. It always makes me smile when the guys yell "Pepe's here!!!" or the new one "Can I get an Ole for Pepe!". Thanks to everyone.

the truck look great at the event! i wanted to let you know that when went into the last hole in the tank trap time ran out. i was just watching your run instead of watching the time(rookie judge) that was what hurt you the most, sorry about my mistake. also the hill climb call was not fair at all!! i tryed keeping it the same but one person wanted it change |

Yeah, the timing change on the hillclimb bugged me. I would gladly do this event without keeping score but if we are going to score, it has to be consistent. Or let the others re-run for a new time. Like I said though, it was still a fun event and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks for your hard work timmy.

Congrats on the good placing, not bad for a last minute conversion of a 1.9 rig into a 2.2 ! So did the 3racing winch actually survive the event? |

Yup, that damn 3 Racing winch survived again. I used it in the Mini Rubicon and twice in the Tank trap, slow as molasses in January but it continues to work. I'm gonna replace it with a servo winch though.
