give us a full on side shot of the new imex treads. i think they look pretty good otherwise, but they could be a lil narrower.

they LOOK too much. but since you have a emaxx tranny, try them anyways. but with all that power going through the little tlt axles, they might not last . they look too big anyways.

Ya I agree they are a little too big but I was hoping they might give some floatation effect in the mud.

ya I figure I'll try them out anyway. The other tires are actually cut swamp dogs though.
As for the chassis I just made that myself, but thanks

got the front end in finally and the tranny mounted

Think I'll run the dual drag links, one over and one under to try and keep the stress down on the knuckes too.

Now you just need a "big block" motor to really set it off redneck style.

Ya I was trying to figure out a way to put a scale motor in it but the servos are in the way. So I'll put inner fenderwells in it with some dual exhaust coming out from underneith if nothing else.

Madhatter, I have one of those lexan blowers from a HPI Bronco body that would probably work

Hey Madhatter that is one sweet rig. Nice work. I love that body. Which body is it by the way. Is that a proline lexan body? If so what was your technique on the paint?! Looks awesome...keep up the good work!

Thanks guys

patman, ya its the proline body with the box cut open. The inside is styrene as is the tool box. As for paint technique :? um..... I painted the inside with ''as cast'' automotive paint and the out side is just industrial red oxide primer with saftey yellow paint (Also industrial). Then.................lots of hard driven

Why do you have 2 tie rods?

Any details on the stabilizer?

Look great!

I put the two tie rods because the drag link mounts so high it puts lots of twist on the knuckles. With the two on top and bottom it braces the knuckles so they don't twist. Going threw the mud at full speed is going to play hell on things so I'm just trying to cover all the bases.

As for the stablilizer its just a tlt shock I cut down useing a drill and a file. It takes a bit but it works (poormans lathe)
