Why not just stuff the receiver and esc into some big balloons? Works great then you could move them up on the firewall in front of the motor so they don't stick out as bad.

Paint it Red, make, paint, or decal some straps on it and make it look like a scale fuel cell! It's it the perfect location! |

Ya I thought about the fuel cell thing but its a little too big I think. And as for the ballon deal, I'm not really a fan of that whole set up. specially on something thats built for mudding only. But thanks. |

Well I did cheat and use most of the old cage but I do have to do a little adding yet. The hardest part is getting everything lined up since I'm bolting the cage in as opposed to welding it this time. |

found some 1/4'' snap rings that will work perfect for scale exhaust hangers. Also found out you shouldn't use rocker guard on styrene (kinda eats it) |
