hmm, i say you do the inner fender thing with the exaust. that would be cool. i love the body. its realistic looking. reminds me of my dads truck. what happend to the old chassis?

Love the look of those TLT shocks turned down... Throw on a coat of white paint and a Rancho sticker and they would look super sweet.

Do you have any pics that show better how you replaced the shock cap with a rod end? Or at least a description?

for the shock cap I just used the rod off the shock shaft. then I just put it on a link in the dremel and sanded it with a tapper, so it would thread into the top of the shock. I ran it through its paces with oil in it and it seems to be holding pressure so I guess we'll see how it holds up.

Plus I just did some figuring and I think I got a scale dual rate coil over figured out .
I'm gonna go out and try to do one. I'll post a pic this afternoon.

WOW I cant believe those are really tlt shocks , I wouldnt mind having a set of those on my almost stock mountaineer , looks like ALOT of time and work goes into those. Nice job dude!

Actually its not that hard or that time consuming. I use a 1/2 drill and a couple different files, thats it. As far as time it took me maybe an hour to cut the four of them.
I just did this dual rate coil over think it took me 1/2 hour total (polishing included)

Those are the same tires i was planning on running with my TLT axles on my Tuber.. But i plan on being rough with it maybe ill go down to a wee bt smaller size.. truck looks good dude !
